Inoculation of Bioreactors, Fermentation Tanks, Culture Vessels

bioreactor-poor-qualityInoculate cultures, nutrients, enzymes or other liquids directly into vessels safely and without contamination.

The QMI Aseptic Transfer System can be easily installed into processing/fermentation vessels or fluid transfer lines. Its low profile design and positive sealing of surfaces makes in-place sanitation easy and uncomplicated. Single track needle channels reduce the risk of contamination that is frequent with multiple needle sticks through the same channel. Aseptic ports come pre-sterilized by ethylene oxide. They are heat stable up to 280º F and pressure stable to 150psi.

Sterilization and testing documentation available upon request.

Easy to Use: Injection Procedure

  • At desired time of injection, remove dust cover.
  • Sanitize Injection Port outer surface with a proper strength sanitizing solution.
  • Aseptically place needle onto sterile syringe or other transfer container.
  • Insert needle through the Injection Port and into tank or other vessel to inject cultures, nutrients or other liquids as desired.
  • Withdraw needle (or needles) and dispose of properly.

Replace QMI port after twelve injections (each channel being used only once).
