QMI Aseptic Transfer System (12 Port System)
Industries using the QMI Aseptic Transfer System include Pharmaceutical, BioEngineering, Biotechnology and Brewing/Distilling to inoculate cultures, nutrients, enzymes, or other liquids directly into your vessel safely and without contamination. The QMI Aseptic Transfer System can be easily installed into processing/fermentation vessels or fluid transfer lines.
QMI Safe-Septum
Retrofitting your bioreactor with the QMI Safe-Septum can be done easily, economically and safely. Safe-Septum is aseptic, pressure and temperature stable, and pre-sterilized. It’s the safer way to keep bacteria, yeast, mold and other unwanted organisms from contaminating your process during sampling or monitoring. It allows you to aseptically inoculate or transfer cultures, nutrients and enzymes into your bioreactor. You use each channel only once; therefore you are in control of your bioengineering process.
Retrofit options include tri-clamp end caps, weld-in insulated tank fittings or a male or female threaded septum.
QMI Safe-Septum is used in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industry on their bioreactors and fermentors.
QMI Aseptic Probe Septum
The QMI Aseptic Probe Septum allows processors to place temperature probes, pH probes, oxygen sensing probes and other probes that measure various perimeters for processing. The QMI Probe Septum will also facilitate the use of time/temperature recorders that are presently being introduced to the dairy, pharmaceutical and food processing industries.
The QMI Aseptic Probe Septum is a 7 port septum and can be installed into any 7 port stainless QMI fitting. It is designed with one large needle channel in the middle which will accommodate the probes or needles as large as 10 gauge. There are also 6 remaining needle channels around the outside of the septum which accommodate sampling with 18 gauge needles.
The QMI Aseptic Probe Septum is made with silicone and is FDA approved.
